The ultra-modern cable railway Alpe di Siusi connects Ortisei, the main village of the Gardena Valley, with the 2000 m high Alpe di Siusi. The widest plateau of Europe and the unique view are reachable in only a few minutes and very comfortably. Here you will find a breath taking mountain scenery consisting of the Gruppo del Sella, Gruppo del Sassolungo, Catinaccio and the Sciliar surrounding the Alpe di Siusi.In summer the top station of the cable railway is an ideal starting point for walks and ambitious excursions or just a relaxing place with a beautiful view.In winter the cable railway represents the connect to all the further ski lifts and chairlifts of the Alpe di Siusi and the area of the Sciliar and it offers to all the skiers, cross-country skiers and lovers of the winter sports the possibility to enjoy the movement in a fairy-tale winter landscape.
You can park your car in one of the 240 spaces of the car park at the bottom of the cable railway.
